Problem Addressed
Growing numbers of Spanish speakers are accessing novel technologies such as AI and Web3, yet most of the communities and educational resources are English language focused. Many of these new products can be challenging to navigate and come with certain barriers and risks in participation. These challenges create a need for resources that educate people from non-English speaking backgrounds on how to safely navigate the space.
Project Description
Hola Metaverso’s goal is to increase opportunity and strengthen communities around Web3 and other emerging technologies. The organization produces content and educational and networking event experiences in-person and online across the United States and Latin America. The Metaverso community includes students, professionals, entrepreneurs, experts, artists, and the tech curious.

Progress to date
In September 2023, Hola Metaverso concluded their 10th event with the FUTURISTA conference in Medellín in partnership with the University of Medellín. Other events include conferences in Los Angeles and Bogota, both in 2022. The announced they would be launching a new brand identity sometime in 2024.
